A Time to Thrive
Blooming Point Therapy is primarily dedicated to helping individuals thrive in The Third Age of Life (60ish+), a life stage that is likely to be longer than any other.
Individuals often arrive at The Third Age with considerably more vitality than in previous generations, and with high hopes for how they will combine this vitality with their hard-earned freedom.
However, while this can be an exciting time of life, it can also bring vulnerabilities and challenges, some of which may be concerns about emotional and physical health, caretaking responsibilities, evolving relationships with adult children, fear of aging, shifting partner relationships, post-retirement identity, behaviour patterns that are no longer serving, and existential distress related to meaning and purpose.
Therapy offers a supportive foundation for navigating the complexities of The Third Age, while also embracing the unique gifts and opportunities that accompany it.
A central part of my work is supporting individuals as they forge their own unique and meaningful path through this precious stage of life.
Meaning in life is a fundamental human need, one that often intensifies as we age. Meeting this need enriches daily life and brings about a greater sense of wellbeing, regardless of the challenges that might be present.
Being in The Third Age myself, I am passionate about this important work, and believe that I am well suited to accompany my clients on this personal journey with compassion, expertise, and lived experience.
